Reset All Controls

When I click reset all in the controls tab all the controls disappeared there were no controls assigned not even default ones. What do I do to fix this?

 

I don't think I did anything remember I reinstalled the game last week.
Keyboard and controller.

 

xbox 360 controller wired got it yesterday

 

I restarted my computer then hit reset and it worked. Could you tell me why this happened?

 

Could it be a problem with my pc because there are some files that when I try to open it says I don't have permission.
For example when I open paint.net it says this

Paint.net is still not working

When I restart the pc then open it Paint.net works but after closing Paint.net it doesn't open again it says that message.

Is there a way to fix the privileges thing because it started happening a few weeks after I joined my house's network and some file say access denied to stuff/stuff/stuff/stuff/stuff and something abut permissions. That's what it said when beamng drive stopped working and what it says every time I try to open Paint.net but they work right after I restart my computer but a while later the message pops up instead. If you know what the cause is and/or how to fix it tell me.
