SOLVED Replying to Forum Thread edits previous post instead of creating a new post

I'm trying to create a new post on my forum thread:

but it keeps editing the same post with no metadata in the text editor, I don't know how to get rid of it or fix. Any suggestions?

Turns out this is intended functionality when you post multiple times on the same day and nobody else commented. GGs lmao
