Replay feature

Hi all. With the new scenarios being introduced, I think it'll be perfect to have a replay feature in the game so we can see how we did the stages from another view. Or if we crashed, we can look at how we crashed from another view. We can play it in slow motion, or fast forward it, or rewind it, like in the DiRT series.

 

It's definitely a feature i'm looking forward to having. i'd imagine it'd make videos easier to make.

 

I'd like to know if the devs have made any comments on replays, and if it's a feature in the development pipeline to happen soon/later/never?
Apparently there was a non functional Replay menu item in a previous patch that soon disappeared. Sounds promising, but I'd love to know what the 'official' status is.

I searched in this forum and found a comment made by Gabester couple of years from to say that it might be feasibly possible.
A lot has changed since 2013.


However, I didn't find anything recent, nor relating to my query which (to reiterate) was:
"...if it's a feature in the development pipeline to happen soon/later/never"

 

you've just proved it's a desirable feature in the community.

 

Let's hope this idea will not be ignored, a replay camera would be awesome.
