Incredible creators are creating many interesting new gameplay content, but sometimes it is slightly difficult to know if a vehicle or map has mods available for it. So what if mod creator could choose "related to" option and then choose which actual mod creation does add new possibilities. Surely there are tags, but those are different. Customer would see on mod's repo page which mods are available for currently viewed mod, bit similar to online shops where they have related items which they try to sell to you. This would make it much easier to find for example missions for official and mod maps as you would just need to open mod map's page from repo and there would be list of items available. Of course for official maps and vehicles there would need to be actual page where addons would be easy to find. This would require some coding to repo so that new mod submissions could choose which mod addon relates to, but overall I would not think that it would not be too difficult implement such feature. This suggestion is to address situation "Tell me what mods there are for Hirochi circuit", currently it can bit challenging to find more gameplay fun for content customer would like to run.
I'd rather see mod dependencies, something similar to how Nexus does it. This way the user would know that KLJP requires the other mod to run correctly – or vice versa, if some mod requires KLJP, you get to know it, too.
That most certainly would be interesting addition too, although dependencies are something quite different from what I had in mind. I would not complain if we could get both additions we explained in this thread as these would improve experience of end user quite a lot.
Good suggestion. Although I would also prioritize dependencies, both would be very helpful. This would make it easier for modders to develop complex mods using multiple other mods - a sort of modular mod system.
