Realistic Tunable VTEC v0.1a This mod is experimental and may not work properly on all engines. Please report all bugs to heyroot on Discord. This mod adds VTEC options underneath the Nitrous Oxide dropdown. This is temporary to allow ALL vehicles to be tested, and then it will get its own spot. Current features include: 3 VTEC options with different power boosts (boost starts @ 5800rpm for now) Torque Curve UI app compatibility to allow proper tuning VTEC sound at engagement point (EXPERIMENTAL). This has only been tested on a few engines, it is mainly noticeable on the quieter 4 cylinder engines. The engine will sound more "open" when VTEC kicks in. Updates to this mod will most likely be for making this better. The 3 options from weakest to strongest (current ideal RPM is 5800, as that is where the boost starts for this version.) Base (peak ~20hp @ 7100rpm) Aggressive (peak ~20hp @ 6600rpm) Tuned (peak ~25hp @ 6600rpm) Kicked In Yo! (peak ~37hp @ 6600rpm) You will also get 3 tuning menu options- VTEC Engage RPM is where the VTEC will kick in. Adjusting this can lead to larger high end power, boosting low mid range power, or lifting up torque drops at high RPMs. VTEC Min. Effective RPM is the minimum RPM at which there are diminished returns. This is to create a more realistic curve where too low of an engagement time will lead to torque loss through the beginning of the curve, or a dip before VTEC engages. VTEC Low Camshaft Scale Factor is the percentage torque loss for VTEC Min. Effective RPM. Also works in the Torque Curve UI app so you can maximize the benefits!
