I don't think it's bad now. If it had a little bit of swirling action around the tire, and a more definitive origin where the tire touches the ground... it be the best thing since sliced bread.
I personally think that NFS ProStreet had some of the best smoke effects of all time. If we could get smoke like that, then we would really be onto something.
