Realistic engine die

Hi,
I play this game with a steering wheel and a gear lever. Is it possible to let the engine die when you shift with the gear level wrong?
That would be cool.

 

Yes it's possible. If you drive your 2.0L pessima over 150 km/h, then shift to first gear, your engine explodes

 

If you can't shift to first gear, you have to change a setting in gameplay

 

Oh yeah, I really forgot that option.
In the settings > gameplay, you'll find a check-able option called "Gearbox Safety". Uncheck it. Then you can shift to 1st gear at a high speed and explode your engine

I think you mean if you can stall the engine if you have a wrong gear selected.
Hardly without a physical clutch but it is possible.
if you disable clutch assist in settings it is very easy (especially without a clutchpedal in your setup)
