Hmmm....I don't think that it's accepted to change your car (I'm still using my '96 Pessima around here), but you can change the parts on the car (within reason, of course). However, what does your '88 Pessima look like now, by the way? EDIT: Nope, you can't change parts on your car. And I highly recommend you leave it all-wheel-drive, as you're just going to get an unpredictable mess of a car when you swap it to RWD. Also, try using the handbrake some more, especially through the first chicane, the hairpin after the first long straight, and the second hairpin.
I guess I will remove the front diff to make it RWD so it might be more agile I guess... This is what my car looks like as of now. Still the same...
You may not change parts or your car after you have officially submitted your first time. The rules next time can change if needed, but this championship is the same as last regarding vehicle changing.
Here's my Klein Hockenheim attempt with an Ibishu 200bx. I used an xbox controller with manual and clutch assist. 2500-5000 credits class. Base price: 2800 Parts and tuning: Sport struts rear only, 16x8 wheels with race tires as well as removed rear seats and side skirts. Reduced fuel load to 10l. It fits well within the $5000 budget while being pretty quick. I managed a time of 3:09.123 with a best lap of 1:34.022. Replay:
Well done, well done. You just beat me by three seconds in a car which I never thought would be particularly quick for this championship.
Well...I just beat your record by a second. Lap: 1:33.123 Total: 3:08.545 I reckon I could go even faster, as I did the second lap with a slightly-out-of-whack front right suspension. So, what I did to get this time was.... -Change the fuel level to 5.5L -Reduce the front tire pressure to 20 psi -Widen the front track to 0.29 m ...and that's it.
Sorry I'm late, but.. Event 2 is now over. Event 3 is in progress and will end on October 28th. Good luck
First clean lap...I think I could do better, but I know that I'm going to get minced here by the elusive "Brown Bullet" 200BX.
My second attempt at Autocross Akina. First attempt is 01:46.700. This second attempt is 01:44.850. Just need almost 4 seconds to beat @DriftinCovet1987 The second replay inside this one .zip file:
I beat my personal record in Autocross Akina. Thanks to suspension tuning (still using the suspension I have in my car) and remoove the fuel to become only 8% of the fuel I have. Here is the replay:
got 2:03.042 in D-Series on Autocross Akina. I used a Controller. first few minutes of the clip is me getting a feel for the truck. (only mod used is a engine pack by me to change the engine sound. same motor, different name and sound it all) after doing this, can there be weight classes?
This championship is now over. Thanks to all who participated. Now for the winners We have an informal tie here, with @DriftinCovet1987 participating in all 3 events, but @mtslittow was faster in the 2 events he/she participated in. Due to fairness, @DriftinCovet1987 is the winner, because he/she was in all 3.
