I was trying to make a simple skin for the D-Series, this only involves 3 small logos I found online for testing. I thought this would be easy, following a tutorial I found online in order to help me do it. I've spent many hours trying to get this to work and it simply just won't. The paint looks all weird and orange for some reason when it's supposed to be black. The logos as well, are very different colors than they are in the .dds file. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Here's the file & a screenshot, the blue truck is to show that I don't have any weird "sun reflections" or whatever is going on usually. Help is appreciated.
The issue with the orange reflections is likely that you were using an outdated materials file for the skin. I updated the materials to the newer .json format, and changed the file name of the dds to pickup_skin_prototype.dds to get it to work properly. The reason why the logos were a different colour for you is because the vehicle colour needs to be set to white for the skin to show up properly.
