Don't mean to be intrusive or rude but I was wondering how progress is coming cause I check on the site and it sayes only 10% and that was like. Two months ago thank you just I trusted keep up the good work - - - Updated - - - I ment I trusted my slip.
Sorry for the perceived slow-down, but behind the scenes we are very busy with everything, like setting up the business things, talking with lots of people that are interested in the engine, working on the models, the code, etc. We will publish a new blog entry next Wednesday, stay tuned
Yep. Just a blog going more indepth about it all and a few pics and maybe even a new video would be awesome.
Thank you. You are doing an awesome job. hopefully this will tide people (including me) over for another two weeks. or until you release a new video
Hi beamng's your work is amazing. What percentage of the game are finished? Van you tell more about the part System? Can cars tune up with different parts and optimize suspention ( car lay deeper )?
I think that progress is very slow and the total package beta testing will be late 2013. So i think that game is at the 15 % work done, but when will be completed it will be awsome and worldwide outstanding physics system for future games!!
so if this what we have seen in the videos is 15 % than how will the 100% look like ?? wtf ?? and if this is 15 % and they work on it for lets say a year now, then we wont play this in 2018 or so.
You all have to remember that the core physics work will take much much longer to do than simple game mechanics will. Once they are finished with the pure physics portion of BeamNG the progress will likely speed up quite a bit. Or at least the visual (as in features they can show through screenshots and videos) progress will speed up.
what about the sounds ? are you devs working on them ? maybe a little ingame sound preview? engine sounds, wind noises, scratching sounds, crash sounds, skid sounds, ....
Sounds seem pretty trivial in relation to the amount of work the actual physics need. I'm sure we'll get some sounds as soon as the physics are flawless.
