I mentioned this in another thread, but no one responded to it so I'm posting it here. When I edit the diffuse map in paint.net, saving it causes something weird to happen to the contrast. All transparent parts either disappear or appear fully black. The diffuse map on the left was opened in paint.net and saved as a PNG (for uploading purposes). The one on the right was opened in paint.net, first saved as a .dds file, and then saved as a PNG. Notice what happens to the transparent parts. How can I get paint.net to stop doing this?
