I'm on vacation right now, so i was stuck with a crappy laptop. I was trying to figure out how to stop BeamNG from lagging and was experimenting. I realized that you can put everything up to high in the settings, just if you leave HDR unchecked and keep lighting quality at low, it runs at a decent ~30 framerate, atleast for my laptop. (Specs in signature). Can you guys tell me in the comments what you had to do to stop lag?

If you think thats a bad laptop...you have seen nothing. I had to play on an Amd a4 laptop. To decrease lag i just turned collisions off

Or, a gaming laptop would probably work. Although, they're still nowhere near as good as desktops for gaming, and most of the ones out there are pre-loaded with tons of crapware and some of them don't perform nearly as well as they should. My best bet according to reviews is probably an MSI gaming laptop, or possibly ASUS. I wouldn't recommend Alienware (which is technically the gaming line of computers from Dell).
