Preferred shifting mode in game settings

I think there should be an option in the game settings for preferred shifting mode for both automatic and manual/DCT cars. The reason I suggest this is because I play with a controller and it's annoying to have to restart a scenario and press Q to change my shifting to real/manual every time (especially when sometimes the keyboard doesn't accept input due to the controller being that active input device). I know I could just rebind shifting mode to my controller but I think having a game setting for it would be a more elegant solution.

 

I agree, also a fix for keyboard button presses not working sometimes like you said would be nice.

 

Yeah, it should definetely be a thing. Would make the scenarios a lot better for people that prefer to drive in manual.

 

Already been suggested not too long ago, however I think that everyone can agree with this one.
