Seems like some people can't find it
Well it's a awesome mod like your discord bot

 

So, I dont know If Im stupid or am just missing something but I cant seem to find how to get the effects going? Halp pls

 

i found this out today. in the UI apps menu, there is a app for the glow effect get it and then you can use it.

It's listed as a User Interface App.

 

new update to mod (or just the new modes) will not work for me.

in the UI app the only mode is still rainbow. have i misunderstood or is the mod not working for me?

I wonder if its possible to match the RGB effect to make it work with the inputs you know like throttle and braking?

My question is, is that possible within the engine to provide the glow effects updates when the throttle/brake inputs are used?

I also want to explore the possibility of making the color match the lightrunner track colors.

 

Maybe call it "Throttle and Brake Response" or something...

 

Uh, where are the pulse and strobe options? I can't find them anywhere.

 

it's definitely possible to change colors according to different inputs. you could make the car glow different colors as engine load is increased, throttle is increased, brake is increased, temperature is increased, you could even have it linked to boost pressure.

 

If its in the code its possible, that would be incredible to see that maybe have it set up so you could choose what you wanted to view in the configuration, also is it possible to edit the game so you can get it out of the Light Runner section?

As for getting it outside of Light Runner I figured it out!

Interesting, so in theory one can make a driver dummy to loose color from his face during high G cornering, have few nodes setup so that dummy smiles or groans depending from throttle position or speed.

Of course using outsim one might be able to sync that to keyboard rgb light color, I guess, all sorts of possibilities for a curious mind to explore
