They said a microburst caused the crash and explained it in a photo : The theory says that the plane entered a big dark cloud . The weather was cloudy and microbursts comes with cloudy and stormy weather . Microbursts are able to send plane down without the crew feelings . More than that the Dark cloud that the crew entered might had some high speed winds inside it . Which explains the wreckage being pushed to the highway . At the end the crash remains Disputed till this day . Your theory is good . But flight 92 was a Boeing 737-400 and this was a B-25 . Fun Fact : The crash was only a very bad day to me while trying to do another story . I was driving the B-25 At 200mph and I had fog everywhere . The BNSB investigators found some holes in the plane's wing , further more they found that the nails of the wing were rusty and half broken . The Gloster went down at 300 mph/h and the B-25 nose section kept flying for 2 km . The B-25 turned into peaces as well as the Gloster . Rescue teams were sent to the crash sight to at least find some survivors . The Gloster pilot was found dead . The B-25 wreckage wasn't found until 2:14 PM when a guy reported seeing some flames coming from the canyon wall . The rescue team manged to pull the B-25 wreckage at 2:53 PM but there was no signs of survivors or even the cockpit . Later at 3:02 PM . The nose section was found on the canyon floor 100 feet up the canyon wall . Somehow, the rescue team found the Pilot And The Co-Pilot alive . But the main problem that I might get bored from the B-25 Some day because the B-25 is a military aircraft and I really want a civilian aircraft in beamng , not a big one tho but if you look back at old airplanes you could actually see that old civilian airplanes had normal sizes just like the DC Planes best example are the DC 3 And The DC 4 Or even a Vickers Viscount because Vickers used to make some medium sized airplanes . Vickers Valetta for example . Is a small but good looking plane made by Vickers The Viscount is a king . The vanguard looks a little bit big but its awesome . A small Cessna O-1 Bird Dog that is owned by the USAF crash landed on So-Cal Interstate Highway / Nevada Due to Propeller failure . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plane : The plane was a USAF Cessna O-1 Bird Dog . The plane was registered as US 12IF and made its first flight in 1950 Events :The plane was on a normal flight from Nevada To Edwrads Air Force Base but in mid flight the pilot reported that the propeller stopped working and they need to land as fast as possible . The plane wasn't far from the ground when the failure happened so the pilot decided to land the plane next to a road . Everything was going OK but suddenly, the ATC told the Pilot that there is a B-14 Flying above them and its going down because of its flight plans . The pilot . 45 Years Old Mark Kevin , told the ATC that they are going to crash land and requested a police car in the scene because he knew that the landing is going to be hard and they might fail. The pilot saw the road and raised the plane nose but it was 2 fast and late . The plane crash landed at a speed of 110 mph/h and skidded out from the road . A police car arrived at the scene just seconds after the hard landing , both crew survived .
