Today I spent an hour (Actually three because it took a while to learn transmission and to get it smooth) in familiar Jbeam files and tweaked a new engine into the pigeon that has 3x the horsepower but still has a smooth feel, and isn't overdone. This Mod adds: -90HP I4 1.25L Diesel Engine -3 Speed tweaked auto transmission designed for the I4 -4 Speed smooth-tweaked Manual Transmission designed for the I4 Possible Improvments: -Better auto transmission -an I4 Model Notes: -I3 produces 28HP but would likly be advertised as a 30hp engine "Ibishu Pigeon 658cc I3 Diesel Engine" -My I4 produces 89HP but would likly be advertised as a 90hp engine "Ibishu Pigeon 1.25L I4 Diesel 90hp Engine" -I4 resembles the I3's tourqe curve to remain a Diesel engine but gives the driver the extra power for hills Update - V1.0 -changed transmission slot type -no longer using a rar+zip combo Update - v1.2 -Added wleded, lsd, and locked diff options to rear differential in a separated jbeam file. Note: Please removed previous versions files as there has been some renaming FEEDBACK Please
Re: Pigeon - I4 mod One recommendation from me, don't add new engines and transmissions to old files. Create a new file with the new parts instead. Makes mod management for the end user much easier than having to replace his/her own files. Although I am only guessing you have done that as you have for some reason placed a rar inside a zip and that rar appears to be corrupt in winrar and 7-zip. Example attached below (also a pigeon mod). This particular mod I have a new engine following a typical electric motor torque curve. While I was at it I renamed the slot type for the transmission to prevent the normal pigeon transmissions mounting to it and removed the exhaust slot (not needed for electric motor so its just dead weight, might aswell remove the slot). I also added a new transmission fitting my renamed slot type so it can only be paired with the motor. No file over-writing required.
Re: Pigeon - I4 mod the add-on is a new file called Pigeon_engine_i4.jbeam so it is different and can be easily removed. - - - Updated - - - Update - V1.0 -changed transmission slot type -no longer using a rar+zip combo - - - Updated - - - Any feedback would be appreciated Please give me some >.>
