Pickup V8 a bit gutless

    there is not much low end torque, like its an acceptable torque curve, for a 4.0 V8, would be nice to have a bit more torque on the 4.5 V8

    its modeled after a 4.6 modular v8. 250hp is right on the money.

    It's actually a bit high for the times even. The Modular didn't make it to the F150's until 1997. The D-Series is listed as a 1988-1994.

    thanks for that. @gabester is a stickler for these details so that makes sense. if they do a recent truck it can have a nice 5.7 in it.

    I actually think that it feels like it has a bit to much power... I have a 94 F-150 with a 5.0 HO V8 and it feels like an absolute turd... it is incredibly slow and uses more fuel then a small tanker.
