Physics engine and behaviour of the cars in high speed?

I see some people in here complaining about the "drivability" of the cars in the game. I my self don't see a problem with the physics except for the fact that the tires sometimes behaves a bit weird. But thats only in low speeds (except for the tires, they tend to explode/shake around in every speed) but when you get up to a high speed, the physics of the cars seams a bit "off".

And I'm wondering if its because of a pretty crucial part of physics that may not be within the calculations for this game?
    And that is drag.

So the question to the devs is, do the game have drag/air resistance?
If no, do you plan to add it?
    If yes, is it correct?

I have my doubts if its correct.

    1. The Civetta should have more downforce at higher speed. Even with a wheel its hard to control the car if you get it to turn a few degrees at high speeds.
2 At 300km/t ( cant remember if its km/t or mph - is it mph its even worse) when going around you should simply lift off from the ground with a car that obviously have negative lift from behind. See examples from nascar and formula 1 races where the cars spin around and get air because of their loss of downforce when the cars go backwards at above 200km/t.

From what I read in posts of tdev and others there is "Aerodynamics" But I've seen
Nothing regarding "Drag" and "Air Resistance" Though from point of view, I believe
I've seen instances when these are applied in the game...

I haven't. I would like to see a video where you or anyone could demonstrate this. I've tried with engine mods, and I've gotten the cars to go above 300 and nothing happens when I've tried to spin it around. I've also had my hood open ( from a small crash beforehand) in those speeds, and nothing effected that hood except for the cars movement. Normally one would think that at those speeds a hood that wasn't fastened real tight, or a hood that was bent out of shape would just be torn off from the air pulling at it?

    Guys.

    BeamNG Drive Alpha.

If you believe it to be important, it's already under development.

I can't see how your input here is any way, shape or form helpful?

I believe tractorpulling is important, that doesn't mean its under development.

Ive found most (if not all) of the cars weirdly start to pull to the right above 100mph.
Try to correct it with the keyboard, and around you go (spin).

Because one little push on the arrow key results in 100% of steering angle. :)

This game is in Alpha. That means there are LOTS of things missing. One of those things is aerodynamics.
And F1 cars and NASCAR's flip when they go backwards because of the shape of the car. Normal cars don't do that. The big diffuser at the rear of the car creates a vacuum when driving forwards, when going the wrong way it acts as a scoop, filling the flat underside of the car with high pressure air, as the vehicle lifts off the ground it traps more and more air and the car takes off. The entire bottom of the car is engineered to be in a vacuum when driving forward.
Most road cars aren't designed like this, except maybe modern supercars like the GT-R, Corvette, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's. Road cars have little to no aerodynamic aids, and if they do its for economy and NVH.

A Supercar of the ~80's is more likely to do it than the Covet, but it's still very unlikely.

Well, yeah, i do realise that.
But the cars shouldn't be pulling to the right to begin with.

Really its an Alpha version? I had no idea, where is that mentioned?
I dont think youll find anyone is seriously complaining about things not working... they are bug reports.

As for playing with a keyboard, at least 70% of people will play this game/sim with a keyboard.
Obviously it's never going to be as good as playing with a wheel, etc, but it still has to behave well.

Hmm when I play, they always pull to the left. :)

Yeah I don't see this as crying or complaining, it's just constructive feedback.
