I'm just gonna list some of the most importent stuff that I can name of the top of my head here:

If you wanna run the game at 1080p 30fps most of the time, I'd recommend get something like my current setup.

    Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHZ
    nvidia GTX 750
    8GB of Ram
    Medion MD 5500 motherboard
    good enough PSU

if you want a little better FPS, then replace the 750 with a 750Ti.

If your budget is veeery high, then just get the (almost) top of the line stuff. (i.e. 4770k, GTX 980 etc.)

    Just for BeamNG?

Go Intel, ideally 4690k or 4460 if you don't have the dough

GPU doesn't matter brand wise, go R9 280x or GTX 770 strong for best results (1080p60)

You've got the rest down good.

don't you need tonnes of cpu cores for beamng? and is beamng gpu or cpu intensive, the pc i used to run it on at 5 fps wasn't very good for measuring
thanks for all the fast comments guys!

    Not really.
Since BeamNG isn't capable of using multiple CPU cores for vehicles YET, aslong as you don't want to do some sort of crazy 8 car police chase, everything with 4 cores and a million GHZ can handle BeamNG.

do you think a 750ti will limit the 4690k?

Well, I don't think it will.
Right now I'm running a normal 750, and the extra GB of VRAM is really the only thing that I'd need.
It might be a little bottle neck inducing in some cases, i.e., T65 Cargo Box on Dry Rock Island, but overall it's probably good enough.
If you really want to be save, buy a 760.

    It will, I had a 750 ti

The 4690k is a beast, it won't limit you until you start SLI'ing 980s.

My suggestion is the 970, if you can't afford that then even it out with a 4460 and a 750 ti, they're more evenly matched.

i dont want to buy the 970 almost only because they try to fuck us over by saying its 4GB whilst it actually is 3,5

Except it is genuinely 4gb, its just the last half gb is slower than the rest and totally unused for most applications.
