Hey guys Im thinking about buying PAYDAY 2 from the steam sale that is on bow but i would like to get your thought and opinion on the game. Also if you currently have the game how much space does it take up without DLC and can you play it with an Xbox 360 or Xbox one controller. Thanks for the help
Its decent if you are fine with repetitive heists and pay to win(2 or 3 perkdecks that are suposedly overpowered all sniper rifles,all explosive weapons,all fire weapons. all throwable weapons(like grenades) for a long time before eventually shurikens, a minigun, and worst of all a rocket launcher(and with it a free update that added an enemy thats pretty much impossible to kill... without somekind of dlc weapon) were added require DLC packs) overkill also has a habit of releasing paid DLC that are basicly ads for other things(alleso, goatsim, pointbreak, heists for some) along with some free ad content(john wick) and content that requires a different game to use(a sword for chivalry, a quest for mamai hotline 2 deluxe edition) and recently added CSGO type skins with the possibility of having stat boosts even if that doesn't scare you off I still wouldn't get it unless you KNOW you are going to play it constantly... because you will be bombarded with steam popups about their new updates or events or most recently the free weekend for it... I stopped playing because of all the DLC, I dont even have it installed and I still get the steam messages for whatever they do... and they do it frequently. Payday 2 is probably the only game that I actually just want to get rid of almost.
It's free for 12 days now so you can try it out and decide whether to buy it or not later. I don't know how much space it will take when installed (I'm still downloading it) but the download is 13.9GB.
Yeah ill pass on it then as i get 12gb per month and my computer does not have much space left on it as its only a 128gb ssd and beamng and other school stuff take up like 30 gb already. I only have about 20 gig left. --- Post updated --- Do you know how much the demo is as that would have to be smaller than the full game.
I don't know about the demo, but I googled it and found this: https://steamdb.info/app/251040/depots/ The demo download might be around (or less?) 6GB. However I can not confirm this. Also the installed size can and will be bigger.
