    Just downloaded the game via Steam in the hopes of running it on my 2012 iMac through Windows parallels.. have allocated everything over to W7 (all cores, 16GB memory etc.) and the game information is saying that I meet the requirements to play it.. When I try to start a map, the game apparently loads to 100%, freezes, and kicks me back to desktop with a crash report template.
    Computer specs;

    Late 2012 21" iMac
    2.7 GHz Quad Intel Core i5
    24 GB 1333 MHz memory
    1TB Hard Disk (~70GB allocated to parallels)
    OSX 10.9.5
    Running Parallels Desktop 9 Build 9.0.24251.
    Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512MB (assuming this could be the weak link, but I'm getting messages saying it's adequate to play with)

    Edit- I've just tried to reinstall it (twice..) and I'm getting a disk read error from steam now. Advise please

    Edit 2- It's downloaded again but the problem still persists and I can't join any maps.

    You want support for a game you're running on an emulator? okay.

    Advice: Install Windows and run it natively or get a Windows PC.

    It's a requirement. Otherwise I can't help you because errors like that stem from larger problems that can't be diagnosed from a small forum post. If you had this error on PC I would guess your GPU doesn't support DX11, but I'm pretty sure it does. My thoughts is that Parallels isn't designed for running video games, much less complex and demanding games like BeamNG, and thus you will be getting all sorts of errors. It's the same deal with nearly all large demanding games, like GTA V, which don't run very well/at all on an emulated Windows desktop. Plus if you do get it working it'll barely run, considering the hardware (especially GPU) is fairly weak, add into consideration that the CPU is emulating a Windows desktop means that the CPU will be unable to run the game at a playable framerate.

    I have a question - how did you get the game to launch in Parallels? I have tried and cant get past the DirectX error when I click on the app.

    Parallels is often funky with DX10/11 content. Basically you cant unless you go into steam betas and get the old DX9 version of BeamNG.

    If you want to run BeamNG on a mac, you are best off dual booting windows on the actual hardware using BootCamp instead of virtualising via Parallels. You can then get full blown DX10/11 running just fine.
