WIP [Paid Early Access] Interior Lights

About mod
I don't know about you but there is nothing I love more than a healthy dose of backlit interior components. Devs have been implementing this in their more recent cars, however, most cars in the game are as dark as abyss at night, save for the gauge cluster. So I'm working on adding interior parts and glowmaps that light up things on the dash that would normally light up in real life.

How to use
The mod will not come with any configurations to avoid the clutter. In order for the lighting to show up, you will need to equip the given car with a part that has "Lighting" in the name, for most cars this will be the dashboard or interior, but for some, this might be another slot if they did not have a dedicated dashboard slot. Just use the part selector search function. The dash will light up once you turn on the headlights.

Omg, another small immersive feature that should've been in-game for years now... SICK. Modders straight up carrying this game I swear

 

I've been looking for a mod like this for ages. It's such a small feature that changes interior driving so much, and it baffles me how this isn't a standard feature. I know that the Landsdale and BX already have this, but even some of the newer vehicles like the MD still don't have interior lighting. I've seen car mods from 2015 that even incorporated this feature lol.

I really hope you can continue to add this feature to the rest of the vehicles if the devs don't add this to the game any time soon. The mod is honestly worth the money if you like interior driving.

 

MD doesn't have it because it still majorly uses the old D-Series interior meshes and textures

 

Ah makes sense. Are there plans to add interior lights to more vehicles?

 

Yeah I cannot remember top of my head but there were some that aren't done yet
