the beamng team should release the original old version of beam, not the first bata versions, not when it first became popular, the FIRST version where you only have that one truck and one map, this should be integrated into the game, like play normally and then off to the side a button to play the original, or just release it for download, i think sense the game has come so far i feel like tons of people would pay to have the original game as a seperate game they could play, or dlc for the current game to have the option to play the game or the old game when you launch beam it would be cool to play the original for myself again and i think others would love it too, more games should do this besides minecraft

Usually it is available to download at beamng.com/techdemo, but it seems like the link is down at the moment. You can also download version 0.4 from steam under the beta's tab, but it's not quite as barebones as the original techdemo.

You should be able to find the 0.4 version on Steam. In the "Betas" section in the settings. (If I remember correctly.)
I think he is talking about the 2012 Cryengine 3 version. The devs had said that they most likely no longer have this version of the game on a hard drive, so this version is lost to time.

No they're separate games. They're trustworthy files, I downloaded them off the forums and they work fine for me, and they're better than those fishy pirate sites where you can still download the original two tech demos. They're not available from BeamNG's website anymore, because they're old and outdated. The best way to download them is through the links provided above.

Unzip it by right clicking and hit "extract" if it doesn't have a zipper on the folder icon, then you won't have to do that. Once that is done, open the folder and click on the .exe file with the BeamNG icon, and you'll be good to go. ^how the folder with the zipper should look a.k.a. a .zip file
