Optimization

I have a AMD Apu and I was wondering if the game would be at all more optimizied in phisics because I know some of the apus are pretty powerful. I run the game at 15-30 fps with multicar crashes disabled. Either way if it will be or if it wont the game is still awesome and I love it.

 

the APUs are some of the weakest processors on the market.

HSA is also something that cannot be optimised for at the application level.

 

After using mine for a little while I would say that they arent super powerful but not everyone can afford a skylake i7. So what I should have asked is will there be more physics optimization.

 

What exact APU do you have??

 

AMD A8 6410 at around 2ghz with 12gb of ram and no I cant overclock its a laptop

 

I had a laptop like that and it could barely run ets2 so I think you'll just have to run it how it is

 

Any optimisations that can be made, end up being made every update. The fact of the matter is that its a genuinely demanding game, the devs arent deliberately making it for high end machines.
APUs have one of the lowest instruction throughputs for a given clock speed, and generally low clock speeds too. That one you have, rather slow unfortunately. Go into the settings and disable collisions between vehicles, only thing you can really do to help performance

If you have navigation unit in UI, delete it, it may decrease performance quite a bit in slower PCs.
