Welcome to my new thread! As putting my ZAZ 968M project on hold, i wanted to make a new model instead, which will also be in Beamng, as 968M. Model is still in early WIP, im still working on it. So yes, meet this British-German-Japanese.. Oh whatever, this hell of a rebadge vehicle. ----------------------------------------------------------- Lore: In the early 90s, Gavril Motors at the **** plant in the UK decided to launch a new SUV model, which was sold in the UK and EU markets. The car was presented in November 1991, under two brands: **** and Roth. **** was sold in UK market, and Roth was sold for EU market. The model was called ****. The model had only a manual gearbox and part-time all-wheel drive, offered with a 2.4-liter petrol engine and a 2.3-liter diesel engine. In 1995, a minor modernization was made: instead of leaf springs on the rear suspension, coil springs appeared, and instead of the old engines, two new ones appeared: a 2.2-liter petrol engine and a 2.8-liter diesel engine. In 1996-1997, there was a major change in the interior, with the new dashboard and steering wheel. Also, the old 2.8-liter diesel gave way to a 2.4-liter Italian diesel. In 1998, this older generation "A" of **** was discontinued, giving way to a new "B" generation. Both of 2 generations were based on the same car, called **** ****. The production of this generation continued in China, til 2016. (censored names are those i haven't come up with yet) ----------------------------------------------------------- Q&A: -Will there be Honda, Holden, Isuzu counterparts? Still havent decided yet. PLEASE DONT ASK ME ABOUT THEM. ILL ANSWER WHEN I DECIDE. (but there might be a vauxhall) More questions will come later. Please do not give any name suggestions til further notice. Thanks.
I've found that the origin of this word is Faukeshale and maybe you can use this if it won't be any problems with it --- Post updated --- And Bruckell = Chevy
If i will do rebadges, for Chevy ill use Gavril since its the closest brand to Chevy. Bruckell is more of Chrysler concern, like Dodge
not really Bruckell is chrysler because the 80's cars like LeGran and Solaid Wendover (technically like more expensive Bruckell i think) and Gavril personally for me is closer to the mix of Ford and GMC (not the GM as a whole)
Ill think about the names later, atleast i need to make Opel and Vauxhall and then ill think about Honda's, Chevy's, Holden's, Isuzu's
GEILOMAT !!!!!!!!!!! endlich macht jemand nenn frontera den frontera gibt es nur in the Getaway Black Monday
Oh, I also forgot to mention that gavril already has an SUV so it doesn't make sense to make them another one
It makes sense since Chevrolet badged Frontera was sold for South America, and also Frontera is a lot smaller than Roamer --- Post updated --- Not planned. --- Post updated --- Finally got some lore. Might get some changes over time
Actually, it does. At the same time that Chevrolet sold the Rodeo, the rebadge name of this car, they also sold the Chevy Tracker, Suburban, and the Blazer.
Atp ill ask to not suggest any names anymore til further notice, since the whole thread became a nameplate suggestion, rather than mod discussion. So yes, the name discussion will be later
here are some version suggestions for future: -van (base spec version converted for cargo carrying from factory) -a sporty model like hsv jackaroo in real life (i'm aware that jackaroo is an isuzu trooper) -v8 swap -luxury trims -camo/military type of thing?
This will be cool. These were quite popular in the UK and had a 205hp 3.2 DOHC V6 option. They were also infamous for falling over and being somewhat agricultural. A van version would be awesome. They had the lift off roof version too, so you could convert it into something close to a pickup.
