Hello, i think since i installed the new Radeon Update i get only 5 FPS in the game. Other games like League of Legends are running fine.

    OS: Windows 10 14393
    CPU: Intel Xenon E3 1230v3
    GPU: Radeon R9 290x
    - Crimson 17.2.1
    - 16.60.2011.-17021a-311199C-ATI
    RAM: 8 GB

Tried to launch save mode, clear cache, removed all mods, verify integrity already.

Try renaming your Documents/BeamNG.drive/settings folder to something else and see if that helps?

    200ms delay on GPU. That's a lot!
Your problem is definitively coming from the GPU.
Perhaps some settings went nuts with the latest drivers.

As said above me, try to delete the 'settings' folder from Documents/BeamNG.Drive, and see if it helps with anything.

The following isn't a risky operation, as far you know what you are doing. If you are not sure, please let an expert user do it for you, to avoid issues.
Have you tried to clean reinstall the GPU drivers?
First download the latest ones from the AMD site, then get this program: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Use the program in safe mode to remove any traces of the old drivers, then install them back using the installer you downloaded.

Well both didnt worked. I installed Crimson 17.3.1 now.
BUT i think i've found the problem: Sapphire Trixx

Does that look "normal" now? Playing at high res with reflection @ 2560x1440

GPU Delay is pretty high still.
Not sure if that's normal FPS, you'd have to say if that's close to your previous FPS.

Sapphire Trixx is a tool for overclocking.
If you overclocked your card too much, it will lock into 'safe mode' (lowest possible speed) to avoid damage. That will certainly cripple performance.

Hmm hard to tell. I never care about FPS, as long as it doesnt lag.

I only used Trixx to control the Fan speed.
    10% up to 30°C
    40% up to 55°C and
    100% up to 65 °C

Can i find out if my card is "locked"?

Usually by checking the clock speed.
If it's very low even while playing, it usually indicates the card is not working properly.

Well i guess then it is working well.
GPU Clock stays at 1000 Mhz and
GPU Memory stays at 1300 Mhz

Depends on your overall settings, if it's on high with dynamic reflections enabled @ 1440p this should be normal.

What are you overall graphics settings? If you have faces per update as well as resolution too high in the dynamic reflections that will tank even the best GPU.

Well there is your problem! Of course you will get lower FPS on max settings, try lowering your settings.

And not only GPU, also CPU gets hammered with that, if CPU can't run graphics thread (core running graphics thread gets maxed out) GPU usage drops, it results amusing effects, like for example GTX 1050Ti not being maxed out with dynamic reflections maxed out, when CPU has no time to tell what to do or process some aspects of dynamic reflection, GPU has to wait and that can lead to quite interesting numbers.

I'm not exactly sure why dynamic reflections is so hard on CPU, but maybe that is related to shadows too, if reflection has to render shadows too and as shadows are done by CPU, that might be at least part of the reason.

@Prototyp 206, you really should try to get 60fps if your monitor has 60Hz and use Vsync to keep FPS at that, it is a lot easier to drive then.

@Prototyp 206 's computer is far from a bad computer. It's about the same as the High End Requirements here: Requirements

THIS is why I have a stock, no-modification computer. One thing gets screwed up when you're installing a piece, and your favorite game is ruined!

Well i get about 12 fps more if i switch to 1080p at highes settings. Around 50 FPS in Utah.
    00001 is 2560p
    00002 is 1080p

not that much difference as i thought. Nearly nothing.

How much VRam is free? You might be running out of VRam, if on X-Plane you run out of VRam your FPS tanks
