Online and offline

when I first got BeamNG I could play offline but now when I go to play it says (This game is not ready to be played offline) .... Anyone know why this would be ????

 

Because it's in the process of updating the game. Just wait for the downloading to finish and you'll be able to play offline.

I'm not 100% sure about what I said because I'm not sure about the message. Can you post a screenshot of the message in question?

And thank you I didn't know it was updating .......every time I play I'm online and the computer is online for about 5 hours wouldn't it of download in that time I've got fast net ???

 

@daddom9112 Hmm... I think the issue is not what I thought. Try uninstalling the game through Steam, then reinstalling it. Report back if it goes away. There shouldn't be any need to clear cache by the way.

If this doesn't fix it, you can just launch it by opening the .exe located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\ then go to either Bin32 or Bin64 depending on whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit OS. Just open BeamNG.drive.x64/86.exe
