old beam ng versions

    I would like to play the initial release version of the game. Can any of the devs get me an old copy of it?

    The oldest version you can get is 0.4.0.6 from the 'Beta' tab on Steam.
    That's the latest DirectX9 version before the game moved to DirectX11.

    On some sites you can find the very first techdemo, which would be 0.3 something.

    Be aware that the old versions are much less optimized than they are today, so it will be laggy.

    where is the beta tab on steam? i cant seem to find it. I want to download 0.4.0.6.

    Go to your Steam library, right-click on BeamNG in your games list, press Properties & then select the last tab which says BETA

    Perhaps you have modified or leftover files somewhere (or just a bad download).
