There is an odometer app, which is used in one campaign scenario, afaik.

I wonder if such feature would be possible to add that would log driven distance for each config and would keep that record in db and that UI app would then show driven distance for such configs if not overridden by scenario lua or something.

Of course such feature could have other uses too and something similar might be already in plans, but that app kinda sits there without too much of use.

i wish the vehicles had working in-car odometers that would count your total driven for each config, and then the UI could reflect that. something like the way you can change from mpg(avg) and mpg(instant), you could switch from km(current) to km(total)

Then again when pressing R or Insert, you get brand new car, so in a way that current would be what shows in car. I wonder if saving damage state would then save the car mileage, that would allow you to play game of how long you can make car last.

There would be possible a lot of many kind of interesting gameplay elements with such feature.

Surely our resident Lua masters could create odometer that tracks all cars, in way Satsuma has odometer, but from some reason we have not seen such mod yet either.

had no idea the satsuma had an odometer. the herbie mod has the personality thing that saves across multiple resets and restarts, right? something like that, but instead of remembering the behavior, remember the trip distance
