not spawn objects in Forest Editor

    when I try to spawn grass (tree) objects on a static object, nothing appears.
    what am I doing wrong?

    You are using the Snap to Terrain tool. The brush circle is green.
    This is not to place forest items, but it's to make existing ones being positioned on the ground in case they are floating.

    The tool above is the one to Paint (ie. place items). The brush circle is blue.
