No mods section in files

Hello, I'm redownloading beamng on a newly factory reset PC. I've been on beamng for like 7 years so ive been doing it for a while, but suddenly there is no mods folder. It's in the D Drive section of my PC, and when i go into the steamapps and into beamng, the mods folder is not there and it has a ton of things ive never seen before. Any help?

 

2 things, 1, the mods folder is not located in that folder. That's where the game files and stuff is. The mods folder is easily accessible by loading into BeamNG, clicking repo, and then clicking "open mods folder." The folder you're in is different. Secondly, if you don't have a mods folder in the right place, you can always just add in a new folder labeled as mods and it should work.

Your mods folder should be in:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.31 or 0. whatever version you're running.

 

I went through the normal process I do on my other PC to get to my mods folder and it led me there. Also, when I try and type in that same thing in the files (my mods are in my D: drive) it does not show up. This is odd because I've been doing these exact same steps you just described for like 7 years, and it suddenly hasn't worked on this PC.
