soo I posted this problem earlier and got no replies, so I'm trying again. I went into the map editor to create a small space on gridmap. I went through and painstakingly selected all of the textures I wanted for the buildings. When I reloaded the map to see if my stuff had stayed, a lot of the textures were not there, the biggest one was the "gmat" material I believe, was missing from everything.

Im not sure where you got the objects From but when you take it From other maps you also create Material.cs files for them in your folder , but why the normal Gridmap stuff has no texture I really Dont Know

Hmm well I imported them from the levels>[level]>art>shapes>buildings, and not all of the materials were there so I had to click "edit material" and then choose a texture. It worked fine until I reloaded the map. The normal stuff may be because I used the 'gmat' material (which is what most of the stuff is made of) so i dunno about that either

Ah you selected them over the Material Tool in the editor ? Yeah then its clear that it saves just once , you have to add lines in material.cs of your Material so that it also can save or just copy the Materials.cs from your buildings folder and Paste it where you have planed the objects , its a little bit hard to explain...

I think I understand... I deleted beamng drive but it's through steam so it didn't delete my content files so when I reinstalled beamng drive... It was exactly the same... Also I don't have any way to open/edit .cs files. And I was looking throuh the materials and I found the gmat texture has been deleted. Somehow. :/ so I'll have to get that somehow...?
