Does this occur in Safe Mode?

Likely that a mod is interfering or something's wrong in the cache. Try launching Beamng support tools and selecting ''clear cache''
    --- Post updated ---
In the support tools there is a safe mode.

The glass samples have been updated. The previous sounds were not only too loud, but also more akin to "house window" glass rather than vehicle glass - which crunches more than shatters.

Also, the previous crash sounds were too 'hollywood' and not realistic - although there is a bug in our triggering system which still needs to be fixed which will improve these.

Select "Support Tools" -> "Safe Mode" in the launcher.
