New Update not possible

Dear all,
at first I would like to appologize if my English is not so good.
Here are some Infos to my System:
Windows PC with Windows 7 Pro, graphics GTX 960 2GB, 2 TB Disk Capacity, bought on steam, no Beta activated

My Problem: today I wanted to start beamng but this was not possible due to pending update (3,04GB).
I made a quick disk capacity research and found out, that on that drive are less than 4GB available. I thought this must be the problem. But I couldnt fix it. I wanted to free more space by transferring game data of another game with bout 10GB to a bigger drive. But it still not works. I have button "Continue", as I press this butten, it changes shortly to "pause" but gets immediately back to "Continue". So I cant do anythin. I already tried to transfer the game data of Beamng to the bigger drive, but the game is not allowing this, it says this is not possible because there is a pending update (omg, dilemma). I closed steam, started again, no change. I read that s.o. told about a "the.exe" that could be affecting a full stop of traffic by my antivirus program, but unfo I couldn't find this file.
Does anyone has a practible solution for this? I already searched in FAQs, issues and whatever, but I couldnt find anything similar problem solution.

10 GB space is not enough, I believe I needed over 18. Free up more space and try again, the download is very compressed.

 

hi, then I have a big problem, because I am not able to free more space. I transferred every game to the bigger drive, but I couldnt free more than 15,6 GB ... the game still wants to update... thats crazy ... I mean, there must be a possibility to stop this update process? Should I deinstall it? But I dont know if I can access again on this game... need help
OK, what can I do else?

 

A deinstallation does not prevet you from reinstalling and accessing it again, you still own it with your steam account. But I don't know if you can deinstall during updates. I don't know of any way to stop a steam update.
You could clear the old userfolders and do a deep cache clean, maybe that frees up enough. And don't forget to empty the trashbin, otherwise, yes reinstalling may help you.

 

You can access the core game files, in them there is the game exe, you should be able to launch it: steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/bin64/beamngdrive_x64.exe

 

OK, I think the only way is to deinstall the game and reinstall it on the bigger drive. I will announce if I was successful. Cheers all
