I've made this mod quite a while ago but I just got bored and posted it here! It's an pretty simple mod but it can change the looks of your interior... Hope you guys enjoy, and if you guys could leave some feedback and tell me what you think of it that would be great!

I made 3 steering wheels, all of them based on the MOMO mod.78, I tried making a blue one too but it just did not look right...

And thank you JAM3SwithGAM3S for making a video of it! Never thoght that someone would appreciate my work that much!

I'll try making it! Good idea though!

First extract the .zip file. Then go to your vehicles map and open the common map, then all you need to do is put the file of the steering wheel you wish to use and replace it with the original one!

Gonna try it when I'm home :3.

If you get bored or something one day, a toyota steeringwheel would be kewl.

I extracted .zip folder and put the red wheel file in and replaced it with new one. i tried it but there was nothin new. i went back and put the pre-existing .zip to my desktop so the game wont try to read the .zip folder and started again. then alot of crap like wheels and textures went missing so i had to put back the .zip and everything was back to normal. I might be installing this wrong. Help?

take the steer_01a_d.dds file from the wheel that you want and put it in the /vehicles/common folder.

if you want to use it just select a default vehicle and then hit ctrl+W and under steering wheel select Racing Wheel.

the only problem i have with this is that it only works on default vehicles. in this thread:

i talk about trying to get these wheels to show up in other vehicles and the work i put in to try to get it to work. still not finished.

It wont let me drop the file into the common folder because the common folder is a .zip! that's the problem!:(

Well, I go to content, then vehicles and i open the .zip folder named common. It won`t let me place the steering wheel file into the .zip folder. thats where i am having the problems. and after that, do i place the file again into a default vehicle aswell?
 I am just so confused when installing shit becomes more complicated.:p

What program you use to open it? I use 7zip and works just fine. Also make sure you dont have Beam.NG open and that the file is not Read-only.

Well, you need to get some .zip reading program. I recommend 7zip.

Windows explorer does natively handle zips. But with 1 gotcha, you can copy directly from zips to zips, can do folder to zip and zip to folder, just not direct zip to zip.
