New PC

So I've been playing beamng for a while now and I use bootcamp on my macbook pro(plz dont talk about how bad macs are at gaming, i know) and I want to build a pc. I think I'm going to use an i5 8400 with 16 gigs of ram, and I was wondering if a geforce gtx 1060 would be suitable for running at about 60 fps or if I should go with a 1070

 

A 1060 would pair best, and would run at about 50 FPS. It’s also cheaper, which is a massive plus.

 

What quality? West coast?

What do you think I would get with a 1070?

 

An 1070 would work well with an i5-8400, don't worry about it.
Or how about a Ryzen 5 instead, it's generally cheaper (i5's might have higher prices due to Intel's inability to produce sufficient 14nm nodes, or whatever), it has more cores (good for BeamNG) and it can be overclockable.

 

hmmm. So you don't think a 1060 will be sufficient?
