Unsolved New mods with old version of the game

Hello guys, I am currently playing Beamng version 0.15.03 and i wanted to know if it is possible to install mods that are tested for the newest versions to my old version?

 

Why are you using an old version?

 

Because my GPU only supports directx10 so i'm sticking with the old version

Most mods that were released from lets say 2020 upwards would probably not work, most older than that should work

 

Okay but should I do any changes to zip files or just move the zip file to the mods folder and unpack it from the game?

 

If a mod doesnt show up in the selector yeah
