I am in the process of learning and am trying to make my own maps and car mods, as a result i normally look on various other forums and even just search in google, i need help on learning how to just take parts from one mod and make them interchangeable or even put them onto a specific car without remodeling ie. the motor and tires from the monster truck onto the d series, wings from the 200bx onto the d series bed cover wing slot, various other things, i am having trouble with it and would love some help with it thank you

what sort of stuff have you done so far?
with your 200bx wing on the d series for example, copy the JBeam file, the coupe.dae file, and the 200bx's materials.cs file to documents/beamng.drive/mods/unpacked/new folder/pickup/new folder (where you can name the "new folder" to anything)
then you will need to open the JBeam file ( i would recommend notepad++ for editing) then find the JBeam section of the wing that you want, and change the parameter under "SlotType" from "coupe_spoiler" to whatever the name of the pickup's bed cover wing slot is (I don't think the standard cover even has a slot]. at that point, you should be able to load it up in game, and find it in the part selector.
