The sky is not fully set. I'd like to put somekind of fog in the horizon so that It won't look weird as in the 4th picture. Also, what kind of settings you suggest for PSSM shadows? I've been going from full distance and low quality to high quality and short distance :s
These are the settings I've currently using on DRI. Code: shadowType = "PSSM"; texSize = "1024"; overDarkFactor = "16000 9000 3000 200"; shadowDistance = "350"; shadowSoftness = "0.18"; numSplits = "4"; logWeight = "0.96"; fadeStartDistance = "0"; lastSplitTerrainOnly = "1"; representedInLightmap = "0"; shadowDarkenColor = "0 0 0 -1"; "overDark" in particular is an interesting one; by increasing those values you can reduce the light shadow at the base of the casting object issue. logWeight is how it deals with detail, higher values give crisper shadows closer at the expense of distant splits.
Cool. This & the Dev team's Test-map would be wonderful maps where I'm sure lots of us will spend time fooling around in
I like this map very much in RoR, and I have some suggestion: Make it bigger with more advanced things and maybe a grassy area with hills and some different hill climbing "walls" with different difficulty and steepness Also a set of smooth bumps with the same sizes as the blocky ones for suspension tests

Finally ingame. Took me a while to understand how to correctly export. Approaching ramp series Jump1 Jump3 Ring Pole Long Jump! 60 Meters! Suspension test Now I just need to figure if I can make a copy of puregrid map so I can use the default beamNG settings..
Great job Nadeox1 with the port over cant wait for more of the great RoR terrains to get ported over.
This was my favorite/most played map in RoR. I was hoping that you would make a new one or port the RoR one over. YAY.
