My Steam Deck Experience - how is yours?

We as a family got ourselves a Steam Deck for Christmas.

My boy is a big BeamNG fan, and I enjoy it from time to time.

It was the first game we tried, and was impressed to see it load up. I was then impressed to see it load up Utah, though on low quality graphics and there also appears to be some shading issues too.

But never mind, even at 30fps it was running OK and was usable. Then we tried to load traffic - crashes.

I expected it to be honest - BeamNG is obviously an incredible bit of software and was surprised to see if load up at all.

What experience have you had as Steam Deck owner? Am I assuming rightly that the Steam Deck compatibility won't be a particular focus during further development?
