my plan is to take the moonhawk rusty skin and remove the painted bumpers but still have rusty bumpers make the broken windows a part so it looks like they were smashed out swapping in the front suspension out of a d series bolting some pallets to the roof and trunk lid for a homemade roof rack and using vanilla parts to lift the suspension and some bigger tires maybe a sawzall ute instead of the pallets how could i go about doing this since i have no idea how to mod
All of this seems relatively simple except for the suspension swap. For the skin just compare what are the differences in textures between the painted and unpainted bumpers. Making the broken window can be done by copying the normal ones in Blender and changing the material to the one from damaged glass, then a Jbeam for them that just adds them to the doors and doesn't change any nodes or other stuff. For the pallets you can take a look at how the pallet for roof bars is made. The suspension swap will be really tricky and you should save it for last.
Could you do something similiar for the mad mod? just asking, but do you have the ability and enough knowledge to do it? EDIT: whoops i red the upper side, so looks like no, then what are you going to do with you plans and these ones? (and also if you do it, will post the progress here?) --- Post updated --- would you do something similiar for the mad mod? is there any progress?
after reading the official website i think im going to go with a stock suspension moonhawk with the modified rusty skin in the first post, windows and drivers side headlight smashed out with the rear seat, truck lid, and divider between the rear seat and truck removed to make a quick ute and some other things to make it look like it is fresh out of the scrap yard and probably some garbage bags in the back because it seems like a somewhat large part of the gambler 500 is to pick up trash if you see it
do you know how to use blender? because that will probably need using blender (in some parts of it, atleast)
