My PC Journey

ill be posting my pc journey here like my upgrade path, issues and stuff.
Current PC Specs (as of August 28, 2025)
CPU - i7 2600
GPU - GTX 750 TI
RAM - 20gb DDR3
Motherboard - Z7-G something (i forgot)

Future PC Specs (subject to change cuz budget stuff)
CPU - Ryzen 5 5500 / Ryzen 5 5600
GPU - GTX 1660 Super (if its the R5 5500), RX 6600 (if it's the R5 5600)
RAM - 16gb DDR4
Motherboard - (not decided yet)

i'm a bit new to pc building, i have yet to make a proper pc build myself and i do not know much about the bottlenecks that can occur with certain gpu+cpu combos. im just here to post some stuff and all that, feel free to have feedback n all that.

 

You will want the the most powerful processor you can afford, if you want to run a bunch of traffic and spawn multiple things, if you only want to run a few things then the CPU is not that important. Unless you are running 1440p or higher, a gpu in the rtx 4060 range will also be sufficient.

I'd suggest if you want to stay with AMD to go with the AM5 platform instead of going with an AM4 platform as its getting quite old by now.

 

thing is, i dont have much of a budget plus the philippines is a country harder to obtain AM5

 

You definitely need more then 16gb of ram now for beamng, 32gb will be better I gotta say.

 

thats for sure, but im not gonna be playing beamng much as i also do play other games. ill think about upgrading the ram size
