are you sure it isnt just the force feedback? also, go to controls>force feedback>ffb stuff, check your ffb stuff and see what the problem might be. typo, my bad
Your Strength is too high, that's why it makes the wheel move on its own. Try my settings from when I had the G29:
No, it still moves by itself ... I will disable the configuration Maybe Feedback, I already did this to see what was happening and my steering wheel did not move by itself
I'm not sure that G29 is capable of doing 2000Hz updaterate. With my not so great T150, I have to use 150Hz at max, otherwise when I countersteer I have to fight against the wheel, but with 150Hz setting FFB is actually as nice as in Assetto Corsa, with some aspects like amount of details from surface being better and general fastness of FFB being not quite as good. Anything above 150Hz makes FFB suck, you have to fight against the wheel and all the details are missing, but this depends from wheel to wheel I believe. Also I think I have about half of your strenght setting and about half of smoothing as with 150Hz update rate I did notice that I don't need so much smoothing. Of course those strength settings really depends a lot from what is set in Windows Control panel, if one sets lower strength at contol panel, then in game strength has to be higher and so on. T150 is not very great wheel, imo. Strength setting is really really important to get right and at center area wheel has to feel quite nothing or then it goes to on/off kind of feeling and tiny changes in strength that tell lot about understeer are lost, this happens when FFB is too strong with said wheel, I guess wheel just is kinda weak, not sure how G29 or other Logitech wheels are in that regard. Using correction curve does make FFB worse, no matter how I edit the curve, wheel is strong right from the start and as there is so tiny amount of force / forcesteps, thing goes from maximum or nothing so easily. G27 was better than T150, DFP was also better, but not huge difference, G29 line not sure how large range of force and forcesteps it has as never tested, but I guess you have to interpolate my experience from T150 and G27 to G29 and see if any of it applies to G29. Anyway when dialed in correctly, information I get from FFB is massively better than PCARS2 and quite on par with Assetto Corsa, if one is not getting that good FFB out of Beam with better wheel, then settings are not good enough.
