So I am creating a map and I have everything all set to go and I am working on my map in the world editor. This is what is happening to me. My first photo that I attached is my file setup... The Random4.forest is the first file it said was missing, so I created one with the same data as Random3.forest hoping that then I could overwrite it because the game said it was missing. My second photo is the game telling me that there isn't a forest in the game, but clearly, there is a .forest in the mod file. Correction, there are a few files in there for the forest! My third file I have is the file of the game saying that Random6.forest is missing, but I don't know how it could possibly be needed. The time I opened the game before I just did to take the photos to post here, it said that Random5.forest was missing. So the game just keeps making the stupid mistake of not finding a file that was never there. When I renamed all the files and made my own map, the vegetation was still there. I was using the grid map file. The trees, and grass was all there. Once I deleted it from the mission group, I could not make another forest. Something is seriously messed up within the files. Can someone please explain what is going on, or possibly fix it for me. If needed, I can PM you the files. Thanks so much!!
i don't know why, but the game want a file named random6.forest, a file unexisting. apparently, the good forest file is random.forest, if i believe the weight of the file. So, i propose to you to change the destination in the .mis file. Open your random.mis file, find the lines about the forest, change random6.forest to random.forest . or something inthis kind exept if i tell bullshit. hope help you
