    Before you start, these races are against 5 AI opponents, so make sure you can run 6 cars at once with some reasonable FPS! Also, you need this map for 2 of those scenarios: Uhlenköper-Ring

    Uses Scepheo's AI code.

    Content:

    An illegal street race on the East Coast of USA.
    Banger racing around the circuit on Uhlenköper-Ring.
    The Figure 8 Special, an event that's FlatOut crazy!
    Here's some in-action pics:



    I know the AI has certain issues, they might get stuck sometimes for the banger races, but after quite a bit of testing, I found this to be pretty reasonable. Collisions will occur! There should be literally zero issues with the leader crashing in the street race, though. Unless you happen to make them. ;)


    PS: The .zip contains a UKR.mis file. If you were to replace the original with it (after backing it up, of course), the Figure 8 Special will be less likely to have the AI get stuck, yet you will lose certain props and most of the audience of the original map. Unfortunately. If you know how to load a custom .mis file, please do tell me!

    Sorry, it appears I had a personal mod installed which caused the vanilla game not to choose any, will be fixed in 10 min.

    nice scenario, but i'd like to drive a simple car in figure 8 banger, not a truck. and something little bit bigger in circuit. and change pickup to something smaller in both. that would be great.(ar at least say, how to change cars in this scenario =) )

    It's very easy. See the file called bangercircuit.prefab? Prefab files contain the information about the vehicles. You just need to replace the vehicles you want to change, and make a custom .pc file where you save the part configuration you want to use. If you're unsure how the game references the vehicles (i.e. super is Bolide, hatch is Covet) you can look it up in [BeamNG.drive folder]\content\vehicles\...

    aw, there is going waypoints first and i didn't scrolled, so i didn't saw them. thanks
    about .pc file, what is it? =) i mean how to do it?

    .pc means part configuration for the vehicle. When you save your vehicle configuration, you can name it whatever you please, and it can be referenced in the .prefab.

    So I, for instance, did a banger/derby pickup, saved it as DerbyM.pc, and referenced it as vehicles/pickup/DerbyM.pc, as you can see:

    Scepheo has a better method without the .pc files, but this is the one I used, as I changed the configurations so often and couldn't figure out how the hell I can get it to work otherwise, so it's just a hack, basically. But it works.

    Scepheo did it already, except it's still in beta. Just join his group, when you'll be added, you can download it and a few others. It's the guy that made Jump Derby and Demolition Derby.

    I realise that getting T-boned is very rare on UKR, but on the small 8 the Derby Arenas map has, the cars get stuck in each other too often for my liking.

    Excellent scenarios, had a lot of fun with it. The only thing that i could complain about is that the map has broken lights, the cars have no working chromes like some older map actually.
    So when replacing the truck by a car who still has chrome parts, the result is black chrome. it would be nice that those old maps, still working fine, could be fixed on that point.

    Can you post a screenshot? I run it nearly maxxed out and I'm unable to find an issue. Chrome parts like the bumpers on the stock D-15 work as expected.
    Just drop it in your Documents\BeamNG.drive\ folder. Should work.

    Sorry, i didn't saw you answer. Here it is. The Moonhawk Station has no chrome and is matte, while other contestants have specular and i guess working chrome.
    I manually wrote the color in the prefab like you did, but the preset is red from the unpacked moonhawk_sedan folder.

    So you're right, it has something to do with the way i do this, because other cars seems ok.

    EDIT: well i did the test with the original moonhawk and it's the same, the specular is more intense because it was set up to 128 in the material.cs while the moonhawk Sedan has lower values. So for me, no cars have chrominess at least on my computer. I've observed the opponents and it's the same, high specular but no reflections on the body

    I'll look into that tomorrow, but I suspect your gamefiles to be corrupt. Or perhaps an old mod f***cking things up.

    Well i don't know because i have very few mods and all of them work very well on other maps.
    All cars have good reflexions and chrome for you, not just specular light ?
    Sorry to insist like that, i love this scenario and also i'm testing my own mod with it :) (which has chrome)

    Now that I was on my PC, I can tell you that it appears to be a bit weird indeed. I mean chrome's sometimes just white on Gridmap anyways. Sometimes it's too dark, sometimes too bright. This map is a bigger offender, but I'm not sure how one would fix that.

    I'm not a mapper. At least not in T3D.

    Thanks for your reply. It seems to have the same issue as some older mods like grooved range, Dumsfold airport, etc...
    Someone explained in a topic how to fix that but i can't remember where, and when i tried some monthes ago, it didn't worked for me.
    I will try to find it, Crashmaster has the same issue with the descent which is a pretty good map.
