Hi, I've got a problem. I have very little space on C: drive and my game can't even launch properly, so I've decided I want to transfer user\appdata\local\BeamNG.drive to my D: drive (ONLY the BeamNG folder, nothing else). What I know is that I'd have to make a symbolic link (correct me if I'm wrong, but does it work like this: the new link makes the system "think" a file is still on the OLD drive, but it's actually on the NEW drive, and not taking any place on the OLD drive?). So I've got some questions: will transferring the appdata\local\BeamNG.drive be SAFE of should I not do it? Will the PC's system be affected in any way? And if I messed something up, would uninstalling the game help? Thanks
You can set the userfolder location to something else in the launcher, there's no need to do anything complicated. https://documentation.beamng.com/support/userfolder/
