After more than a month and hundreds of hours, I present you the first video and pictues from my new map Mountain Roads The main long circuit road features uneven surfaces, lots of turns and twisted curves, blind up and downs. Providing extreme immersive experience driving in beautiful scenery with big mountains and green vegetation. The texture is up to 4K PBR material and with a new HDRI cupmap for great reflections on traffic and objects. *Video and photos taken with my Reshade preset Thing to do before the first release: 1. optimize road and objects meshes for better performance 2. fix objects colmesh 3. add road signs 4. finish all road barriers 5. finish adding all forest objects 6. add road pass the tunnel for semi-trucks 6. add new buildings 7. open for suggestions ... I love this! Can i only suggest a fuel station with a parking slot? And some houses (2/3), or maybe a Villa with fountain at the centre? Like american Villas with car parked in front of them. Keep It up!
looks amazing man, only suggestion id have would be like a hotel or sum like that at the side of a road somewhere with a parking lot and a small village with like 5 houses, another small question thats kinda offtopic, what happened to the italy 2&4k texture pack? was really hyped about that texture pack
I stop working on Italy when PBR was out. I thinking of making the new textures pack to a PBR and it will take time. This road is something i dream to do for many time
The map is looking really good, can't wait! Is the map based anywhere? It's giving me a southeast Asia vibe, mostly Indonesia, although they drive on the other side of the road irl Lastly, do you know a rough estimate of how complete the map is? (ex. 50%)
You're right I Try to make it like southeast Asia look and start when the road was on the other side. but somehow it becomes what it becomes.. maybe I will make a Version like this in the feature. and about the completeness of the map, I would say 70% for now
