Hey, Bolt are you planning to do templates for cars that are in the COT era? I really want to do the Edwards/Keselowski flips with the right cars!!
Sadly no, as the COT cars are way thinner and a little boxier compared to what we have now. I already lost hope in this mod too
Nice. Also you should remove the 2022 NCS logo from there, since there's already the monster energy cup logo. (On the Joey Logano skin)
these are my first skins so they are probraly not good from the start but good next. --- Post updated --- My youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_mqNEUhdQEOfXpg_EP8VjA
those templates are a godsend, thanks again and i'll make sure to credit you if i ever get my skin pack out
Uh, Bolt, I need help. I am doing the "2022 Truck Skins" and I made a Hailee Deegan skin. However, it won't show up in game. Please help, I have spent all day and have found no solutions. Here is a screenshot of the skin, and the .DDs file.
You need to adjust some things, but overall a great skin. Also could you PM me for skin issues other than posting it here? If yes then it would be nice.
How many times do we have to go over this???? Do not take other people's work and paste it on the template!!! in my 2022 Truck Skins, I made all the paint schemes from scratch. You are basically plagiarizing the hard work of a skin maker for NR2003, or NASCAR Heat, or any of those games. If you keep doing this, you could get into some major trouble.
Facts. Although you do not need to go this crazy about this. @s13g39_crashes_and_flips , you're doing your scheme extremely wrong. Skinning for NR2003 and skinning for BeamNG.drive are 2 different things, you can't just paste the entire thing on and expect it to be good. Your 2 major errors are: 1: You didn't even bother to cut off the front nor the rear parts that aren't supposed to be on the truck. (you didn't actually expect the truck to automatically turn into a tundra with that did you?) 2: You, again, didn't bother to adjust the parts and paint the area around them. It's gonna be so many grids around that truck. 3: The bed/bed cover skin placement is wrong. And before you even ask "but skinning SP's Gen 6 is like skinning in NR2003, how is it so different?", the ways both types of templates are made are completely different. On the Chevy body, it's 1 single layer that you're supposed to build under in the remaining space. That is the same thing with NR2003 skinning (for the most part) except it's most of the time multiple layers. But while skinning on every other vehicle you would think of, you need to build on top of the template layer and make a base color layer. Please watch any skinning tutorial (that doesn't feature SP's Gen 6) so you understand better of what I'm trying to say here. And also, please. Could all of you move showing off WIP things/questions to your own threads or to PMs? Thanks.
