I installed a few mods last night, had them working, then ran into some issues with Microsoft OneDrive syncing my BeamNG folder in My Documents. Long story short, I moved the BeamNG folder to my desktop and back to My Documents, and now the game no longer recognizes the mods. Can anybody help?

Okay, I think I'm making sense of this all.
    This:

is where I saved the mods, in a folder that was labeled "Documents" in Explorer, but was really just a link to OneDrive. Somehow, that directory worked for mods when I installed them last night.
    This:

is the real Documents folder on the hard drive, only accessible by going through the C: drive or by enabling a shortcut on the start menu. BeamNG created this folder after I reinstalled the game, but I don't know if it was there yesterday when I first installed the game. I'm still curious to why the game created it's user folder in the fake OneDrive Documents folder instead of the in root directory on the disk, and why it worked the first time but not after rearranging the folders.

I recall OneDrive has this function that syncs your whole Documents folder. You need to check its setting and see if there is a way to 'exclude' some folders from syncing.
The game will use C:\Users\User\Documents\BeamNG.drive by default for its cache and mods.

You can change that path from the startup.ini file in the game directory.
