Mods not showing or config missing

ok So i have a BUNCH of mods that have worked well in the past, which now simply do not show up. and then there are SOME that will show up, however they only show the initial thumbnail and 0 configs.....also, none of my saved configs show as thumbnails, so i have to remember what i made and find them in the load menu....i figure most of this is prob a related issue, so id love some help please.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think if you click control + L in the vehicle selector it restarts, but you stay in the game.
It's confusing to explain so sorry if it sounds weird.

 

I'm having the same problem, everyone says the mod is awesome, i download it then put it in in the mods folder, then it shows 1 config then it doesn't work

 

might need to turn on Show custom configurations
